Annual Awards Banquet
& Signature Fundraiser
CDAM honors members of the criminal defense community
each year with its Right to Counsel Awards. This is also
CDAM’s signature fundraising event and provides businesses
the opportunity to network with criminal defense attorneys in
a relaxed atmosphere. Businesses can gain exposure by advertising in the Awards Program (also published in the
Michigan Lawyer’s Weekly), donating products and services
to the Silent and/or Live Auction, and sponsoring an Awards Banquet table.
CDAM Annual Directory
CDAM provides members with a printed directory which
includes all CDAM members and a Professional Listings and Services section. The directory is a great resource and its
used frequently throughout the year. Businesses can choose
from a variety of sizes, full color options, and ad placement options. The directory is an opportunity for your business to
be viewed repeatedly by Michigan’s top criminal defense
attorneys.
Right to Counsel Newsletter
The Right to Counsel is now published regularly as an online newsletter. CDAM provides a variety of options for businesses
to advertise within the Right to Counsel. Members often share the newsletter with others in their offices, expanding the
readership and viewing of your advertisements throughout
the year.

Spring & Fall Annual Conferences Exhibitor
CDAM provides two statewide advanced
skills conferences for criminal defense
lawyers. The conferences are geared to
provide a nuts and bolts approach to
continuing legal education. CDAM faculty
consist of top state and national practitioners experienced in practical teaching as well as criminal
defense work. Programs are structured
in lecture, workshop and demonstration
formats. The conferences will provide
businesses the opportunity to showcase
products and services fact to face tø over
200 defense attorneys.
Trial College
The Trial Practice College offers a
tremendous opportunity to participate in a
low-cost week-long training program. The
college is designed to allow participants to
share the practical trial experience of
seasoned veterans and promote zealous
defense advocacy. Participants will not only learn through lectures by nationally recognized trial lawyers on
each state of the trial, but will also apply
what they have learned in daily small group training sessions. Businesses can sponsor a Trial College
Lunch or Evening Breaks and purchase
advertising space in the program.
CDAM Web Resources
The CDAM website provides both public
resources and a members only section. The website will include training materials, online video training,
member forums and specific issue groups,
and resource articles and links. Businesses
can place web site banner advertisements
on a monthly or yearly basis and choose
from a number of ad placements.
Businesses can also have their logo and link in the resource section for additional exposure in both the
public and member only sections.
